As the NDP is opening a fresh chapter with a new leader, Olivia was asked to share some of the lessons learned when Jack became the party leader. Here is her contribution to the Hill Times.

The institution’s Social Work Department honoured the late Jack Layton as a community advocate and leader with the annual Legacy of Social Justice Award. Olivia Chow accepted the award on Jack’s behalf during a visit to Calgary.
