Numerous studies have shown that the number of obese children is steadily increasing. Olivia has repeatedly called on the government to implement a national childhood nutrition policy that would provide at least one healthy meal to all children under 18 every day. Last month Olivia spoke to a conference on public health and nutrition which was presented by the Centre for Science in the Public Interest with child nutrition and general health experts.
