TORONTO – A crisp February day spent skating across the ice in two of Toronto’s most iconic parks with a wide cross section of young and old families from across the riding. That is how Olivia Chow marked Family Day in 2013.
With each passing day the pace of life for all Canadians seems to be moving along much faster. So with that in mind it was very nice to have the opportunity to spend a sunny day sipping hot chocolate and enjoying the company of many old and new friends in Trinity Bellwoods and Christie Pits. We are so fortunate to have these and so many other fantastic parks and recreation centres in Toronto.
It was wonderful to see so many families out celebrating Family Day together. Thank you for coming out!
